Back from Disney World...We had the most awesome time!! It really is a magical place. We went to the Halloween Trick n' Treating Party which was a lot of fun! Not too much of a post today....just some pretty flowers. Have a great weekend!

In less than a week we are leaving for Orlando, FL to take the kids to Disney World! My question is: Has anyone been to any of the Flea Markets there? If so, which one is the best? Also, are there any good thrift stores? I looked up and found Flea World, but not sure how well any of these are....so any help is appreciated!

On another Note....I am going to try for the first time to make these cute Cookie Lolly's! This is just a cookie with a stick in it, but the challenging part is going to be decorating these cookies with royal icing like the photo below. I got this great tutorial from Cake Journal, so hopefully I can get it right! Wish me luck!! She also has plenty of other great tutorials such as How to make gum paste strawberries for cakes, sugar bows & flowers, colored sugared sprinkes and lots of tips on how to do other decorating things. My favorite and hopefully I will get to make oneday is her Cupcake stand. It seems pretty simple to make and I am all about the simple and easy way!! So, maybe my cupcake stand will turn out alright.

I know many are probably anticipating the New Tim Burton "Alice in Wonderland" movie coming out in March of 2010, so here are props, costumes, and set pieces that were displayed on a tour in San Diego! I would have loved to have been there!!! I am just hoping this movie wasn't as bad as Charlie and the chocolate factory by Tim Burton. Either way he always knows how to create an interesting setting! I first saw these cute little BonBons made on A pocket full of Posies Blog, so I had to copy and make some myself for a little mermaid party! But, I am just going to use them as decoration...hope nobody tries to eat them!! But aren't the necklaces cute, though. Maybe I will get around to making the necklaces too.......oneday~

~Ok......so here are the bon-bons that I have made so far. I am planning to make more, but I need to get some different fabric. Also, I wanted to show off my new seashells that the kids and I painted yesterday. These are going to be for the little mermaid party as well. Isn't this little pink store filled with cuteness! I love it. Sorry the photos aren't the best.....click HERE to see them better!! ~Our new Boston Terrier~

Hey everyone!! I have to tell you about the newest edition to our family......a 6 week old Boston Terrier girl. Ohhh, How this little dog is so Sweet and Cute!! This is a early birthday present for my son, Hayden who's turning 6 in August. He named his new puppy Jonezee. (I guess thats how you would spell it.) He is so excited and is doing so well with her so far by taking her outside to do her business, feeding her and he constantly has to have Jonezee by his side. I am so proud of him for doing so good!!

~Jeweled Wall Art~

I thought these were pretty neat!! If anyone's needing to dress-up any dull wall, then check out these jeweled re-positionable stickers designed by Rhonna Farrer that can be used again and again! I really like the lamp one.... this would be great in my bedroom to make some extra room on my side table. And if I don't like it there or want it to be gone then I just pull it off. Also, a neat idea was to put one of the frames around a light switch cover to glam it up! I really liked this thought. I would really like to purchase one but I need to save for this car, so oh Well. Well, the day isn't looking too bright....so I decided to post bright pictures instead. Last night my car decided to pretty much blow up on me. Now, I am stuck and need to buy a new car because I don't want to sink more money on this high-mileage car. I don't know what to actually get. I tell you I never used to be into vintage items at all when I was in my teens.....in fact I hated anything of this sort, but now I can't get enough. I think it's funny how much your taste for things change over time. Just like the color pink too, I couldn't stand anything with this color and now I want it everywhere. I wonder if in a few more years down the road if my taste will change again? Probably so....

Wouldn't this be nice to have lunch at such a beautiful setting and then lay out by the beach!! We are going to Flordia in a few months, so in the meantime I will keep dreaming. Also, by the way I still have not gotten back my little girl's Princess party photos because I had two cameras so I was taking from both and didn't use all the film on them. Plus, I don't think I got any real photos of the decorations, but hopefully my family did. It was a crazy day but I'll still get some photos up at least......I hope soon. I will have to take some more photos just so I can get them back if that makes any sense.
